Mrs. Wilkes' Marketing Class discusses the importance of responsibility and what it means to them.

Here is a sample activity:

"Taking Responsibility means not blaming yourself. Anything that takes away your power or your pleasure makes you a victim. Don't make yourself a victim of yourself!" Susan Jeffers

1. It is easy to confuse responsibility with blame. How can you tell the difference?

2. How does blaming yourself take away your power?

3. Explain in detail an example of a situation where you took responsibility for your own actions?

4. Give an example in which someone blaming or punishing himself or herself is counterproductive. What advice would you give that person?
