I graduated from St. John Vianney High School in Kirkwood, Missouri.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

I earned my Missouri Teaching Certificate through Harris Stowe State University. 


I taught 5-8 social studies and language arts for eight years; four years at Good Shepherd in Hillsboro and four years at Cathedral Basilica School in the Central West End.

I worked as a tier three interventionist at Lusher Elementary in the Hazelwood School District.  I also worked as the in school suspension room supervisor at Hazelwood West Senior High School.    


My name is Zach Giljum.  I am a native St. Louisan who attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and attained a Bachelor of Arts in History.  I taught for 8 years in private schools around the area including Good Sheperd in Hillsboro and Cathedral Basilica in the Central West End.  I performed my student teaching requirements right here at Jennings Senior High in 2006 and worked in the Hazelwood School District as well. 

I've also been given the opportunity to coach multiple teams, in multiple sports, at the middle school, high school and university levels.  I am truly passionate about education, scholastics and athletics.
