Bio

My experience as a secondary educator is diverse, having worked as a teacher at both suburban and urban schools. I am certified in Marketing Education and Business Education, as well as in Family and Consumer Sciences. This school year I am teaching JAG Core Curriculum, College, Career and Character Seminar. As A FACS teacher I taught Fashion, Child Development, Careers and Family, Nutrition and Wellness and General Foods. The courses that I taught as a Business and Marketing Teacher included, personal finance, entrepreneurship, marketing management, economics, and computer applications. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership, Master of Arts degree in Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Educational Specialist degree in Education Administration and Doctorate in Education Administration, in addition to participating a wide array of professional development courses. I am very passionate about teaching students to be the best they can be as well as preparing them to be successful in life outside of the classroom. Prior to becoming an educator, I was involved in corporate America in sales and marketing. This will be an exciting school year for students and myself - courses will be informative, and interesting. Students will acquire independent learning skills that will prepare them for life after graduation. Students will learn employability skills, job readiness skills, and focus on preparation for post-secondary education.
